TREND ALERT - SLIP DRESS

No doubt about it, 90's fashion has come back with a vengeance.
A few of our favourite styles reprising their well-deserved moment in the spotlight. Quite honestly, we're not sure why they went away in the first place.

The piece that we’re most excited to welcome back, however, is the ever-versatile slip dress. Half lingerie, half effortless dressing, the slip dress evokes a sexy elegance that’s just as comfortable being paired with sneakers or a pair of strappy sandals.

RED + WHITE

RED + WHITE - Red crop top from Boohoo, White midi skirt and white ankle strap sandals from Zara
Red and White are my two favourite colours.
Matching them in an outfit gives me great pleasure.

RIPPED DENIM

Ripped Denim from SheIn with Basic White Tee and Boohoo Court shoes
Ripped Jeans.
Never really been a fan.
Just worn it once ever. But when I saw this pair on SheIn, I knew I had to get it.

Hey y'all!
Is it too late to say Happy New Month?

Anywhoo, welcome to my birth month.
My birthday's in a few days and I'm literally freaking out for many reasons.
But I'm trying to be calm about it.

ROSE QUARTZ & SERENITY - COLOUR OF THE YEAR 2016

PHOTO: And the Pantone Color of the Year for 2016 is ... Serenity. And Rose Quartz.

A softer take on colour for 2016: For the first time, the blending of two shades – Rose Quartz and Serenity are chosen as the PANTONE Colour of the Year

Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.
A double serving of his-and-hers cotton candy. That’s one way to describe this year’s colour pick. Both colours as soft and sweet as a nursery: palest pink and baby blue, aka Rose Quartz and Serenity.

It’s all about the blend, declared Pantone. Choosing two hues with gender symbolism reflects the gender blur and fluidity that is taking place in fashion and the culture at large.
