This post has almost nothing to do with d forros or d outfit.
I was told about a job opening by a friend and I sent in my application yesterday. Through her help I got called for an interview today which I went for. I have never applied for a job before now and I'm almost clueless as regards job interviews.
I was very unprepared and had no idea on what to expect but I fortunately got the job as a marketer of the Sleek make-up brand. The job practically entails my scouting for prospective distributors of the make-up.
I have talked to almost a hundred persons tryna sample opinions and get advice. I got a a headache as a result of thinking so hard. My parents said that I'm not cut out for such a tasking job and should look for something less demanding (I'm sure they know that jobs don't grow on trees). I know they mean well n have my best interests at heart but I wouldn't learn if I don't try right?
I studied law in the university and never had any contact with the course "Marketing". A recent graduate with no job experience whatsoever and I was given this opportunity (n d 'perks' attached). I know its gonna be tough n all but I want it (for reasons I can't explain) and I'm very willing to learn and work hard. I believe its all part of the process.
So I think I'm gonna give it a shot, like a 1 month trial period and see how it goes.
I wore this pants cos they are the most comfortable pants I own and for me, comfort is key. I didn't know whether to be all corporate or casual but I came to a compromise n tried to meet somewhere in between wif this outfit.
How did I do with the interview look?
Yay or Nay?
